Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, has said that President Bola Tinubu’s administration arrived prepared to instill social and economic dread on Nigerians.
In a message on his verified Twitter account on Monday, Sowore bemoaned that tuition rates in some schools had increased by 500%, while fuel expenses had doubled and food prices had risen beyond the grasp of many Nigerians.
While claiming that the administration had arrived prepared to unleash social and economic misery on Nigerians, the social critic predicted that the dictatorship will be punished shortly.
“It’s Monday morning, and the roads are hungry and empty,” he wrote. School tuition are increasing by 500% in some schools, power charges are surging, fuel expenses have quadrupled, food prices have risen beyond the grasp of many… The @officialABAT dictatorship came prepared to instill social and economic terror in Nigerians, and the rogue regime will be punished shortly! Organise, not agonise! They did not offer magic; they promised Shege! #Renewedshege #Revolutionnow.”
