President Bola Tinubu and Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State are presently engaged in a meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The governor arrived unaccompanied at approximately 5:35 pm for the confidential discussion in the President’s office. Fubara has previously encountered challenges with his predecessor and the current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike. However, President Tinubu recently intervened and successfully facilitated reconciliation in the dispute, averting a potential security crisis in Rivers State.
