The eight new Permanent Secretaries, who passed the Federal Civil Service screening procedure, were sworn in by President Bola Tinubu.
Before the current Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting began, there was a swearing-in ceremony.
Ndakayo-Aishetu Gogo, Adeoye Adeleye Ayodeji, Rimi Nura Abba, Bako Deborah Odoh, Omachi Raymond Omenka, Ahmed Dunoma Umar, Watti Tinuke, and Ella Nicholas Agbo were the new Permanent Secretaries.

Vice President Kashim Shettima is also present at this week’s FEC meeting, which is now being presided over by President Tinubu.
The head of the Federation’s civil service, Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esan, the chief of staff to the president, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, are all present at the meeting.
A number of other cabinet members were assigned to attend the meeting, including almost all of the ministers and a few more top aides to the president.
