There is a shortage of fuel in many locations in Nigeria, and in some places lines extend into the streets. The cost of the goods has increased nationwide as well.

Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) presidential candidate, has charged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with destroying the county’s fuel supply in order to use it as leverage against the federal government.
