A bandit was recently spotted in a viral video showcasing money obtained from victims as ransom, which was then uploaded on TikTok, a popular social media platform.
The video was posted by Zagazola Makama, a security analyst and counter-insurgency expert based in Lake Chad, who shared it on his X handle on Monday.
Makama highlighted that the account user has amassed over 3000 followers, with some of them being bandits who proudly display their firearms while dressed in military or police attire.
He expressed concern over the fact that Tiktok has provided a platform for insurgents to freely promote their acts of terror without facing any restrictions.
In his post, Makama emphasized the audacity of the bandit on Tiktok flaunting the ransom money acquired from victims, shedding light on the alarming situation facilitated by the social media platform.
