President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to visit Ogun State on July 29 unless there are any unforeseen changes.
The President, who is now celebrating Eid el-Kabir in Lagos State, will be in Abeokuta to meet with the Alake of Egba, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, and the Awujale of Ijebu, Oba Sikiru Adetona.
In a note he sent to All Progressives Congress (APC) members in Ogun State, Babatunde Olaotan, an adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun, confirmed the president’s visit.
Olaotan addressed them, saying, “You’re cordially invited by Governor Dapo Abiodun – CON to welcome His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu – GCFR who will be paying us a visit tomorrow, 29th of June 2023 in Abeokuta and Ijebu-Ode.” Tinubu will be visiting the Gateway State, Olaotan added.
He claims that APC supporters in Abeokuta and the surrounding areas should assemble at the Ake Palace by 8am, while those in Ijebu-Ode should do so by 12pm.
Probably on a thank-you tour for a good election, the President is visiting the paramount rulers.
