Three people are killed as thugs sabotage the poll and steal BVAS in Benue

In the Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State, at least three people who were thought to be political thugs have been slain.

When voting was taking place, the criminals broke into polling places 026 and 004 in Gboko South and tried to steal ballot boxes and the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System, or BVAS.

Moses Agure-Dam, an eyewitness who corroborated the news to Obasanjonews24, claimed that military officers shot and killed the thugs.

He declared, “The thugs broke into the polling places and messed with the election. They numbered three, and one of them attempted to steal the BVAS while the other two attempted to steal ballot boxes.

The nearby soldiers immediately opened fire on them, killing them all.

The Obasanjonews24 was unable in getting in touch with DSP Catherine Anene, the public relations officer for the Benue State Police.
