Three Arrested in Julio Foolio Murder Case

The Tampa Police Department has apprehended three suspects involved in the homicide of renowned American rapper, Julio Foolio.

On June 23, 2024, Foolio was fatally shot during his birthday celebration which marked his twenty-sixth year.

A press release was issued by the police department on Monday, informing of the apprehension of three individuals: Alicia Andrews (21), Isaiah Chance Jr. (21), and Sean Gathright (18).

The accused individuals have received charges for having committed premeditated first-degree murder using a firearm, as well as conspiring to carry out the act.

An allegation has been made that Sean Gathright altered or destroyed tangible proof.

Furthermore, two other suspects by the names of Davion Murphy (27) and Rashad Murphy (30) have been subjected to arrest warrants released by the police.

They are being sought for charges of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit the same offense and three separate counts each of attempted first-degree murder.

Between June 21 and 23, the rapper was targeted for murder by a group of five conspirators.

According to law enforcement, on June 22nd a group of individuals journeyed from Jacksonville to Tampa in two cars with the intention of pursuing and murdering Jones as payback for an ongoing feud between rival gangs in Jacksonville.

Police reported that on June 23, Chance and Andrews pursued Foolio and his group to a hotel location where he was fatally shot while three others sustained injuries.

According to reports, Foolio was associated with the gang known as “6 Block,” while the suspects were purportedly part of either “ATK” or “1200.”
