Three young guys have been detained by the Ogun State Police Command on suspicion of being members of the Eiye Confraternity in the Joju, Sango/Ota area.

According to police, the defendants’ arrests came as a result of “credible information provided by an anonymous citizen.”

According to reports, CSP Saleh Dahiru, the Sango Ota Divisional Police Officer, headed his anti-robbery unit to School 3 in Joju.

The suspects, Dakwo Micheal Jackson, Joel Obieva, and Oluwaseun Bamideke, “were caught planning their illegal activities” at the stated street, according to a statement by the police public relations officer, Omolola Odutola.

The individuals who had been detained during the arrest had admitted after questioning that “they were part of a larger gang of Eiye confraternity, comprising five members, with their leader still at large.”

Before carrying out their planned operation, the men, according to Odutola, intended to meet at the school. He claimed that the Sango police’s quick response assisted in catching the individuals “before they could execute their nefarious plans.”

She insisted that efforts are being made by the police to find the runaway suspects.
