Atedo Peterside, the founder of the Anap Foundation, stated on Wednesday that people hastily congratulating Bola Tinubu as president-elect are doing so because they have not seen the available proof that the presidential election was stolen.
It is still too soon to applaud Tinubu, according to the world’s top economist, who said this in an interview with Arise TV on Wednesday.
He said that he would only congratulate the victor of the 2023 presidential election when the Independent National Electoral Commission’s findings had been upheld by the court as accurate.

He believes that the election body’s results are insulting to Nigerians’ intelligence.
He stated, “Whoever is the winner at that moment, I would congratulate him,” adding, “If they go through this procedure and the judges satisfy us that everything was done right and we adopt the numbers.
But it’s premature right now. When I can really see what INEC has posted, it is premature and an insult to everyone’s intelligence. Folks who are rushing to praise him haven’t even bothered to look at the proof or the information that is now available.
