Sani criticised the decision, writing on X: “The president need to immediately revoke the acquisition of that N5 billion Presidential Yacht.

“While their leader is yachting, the poor cannot be fighting for survival in a canoe.”

Omoyele Sowore, an activist, countered Tinubu’s claim that he was nurturing a gang of thieves.

“The @officialABAT dynasty of thieves!” Sowore wrote in a post on X. For a man who has never gone to a stream, they want to purchase a “Presidential Yacht” for N5 billion. For another man, who recently constructed a home spanning from Bourdillon to Queens Drive in Ikoyi, they want to rebuild a Presidential Lodge in Lagos for N4 billion!
