Prior to their Premier League match on Monday, Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino acknowledged that Tottenham “are title contenders.”
Additionally, Pochettinho expressed his happiness with Ange Postecoglou’s successful debut at his previous club.
This match will mark the 51-year-old’s first visit back to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium following his dismissal in 2019.

During a press conference on Friday, Pochettino responded, “Yes,” when asked if he thought the Spurs were a title contender.
“I’m so happy for him and the club to be doing really well,” he continued, speaking of Tottenham’s season-opening performance. Nothing that transpired there can ever be forgotten. It’s common for us to be incredibly thankful and upbeat individuals.
“We maintain these connections and are always happy when the club does well,” the person said of the group she was a part of.
