The “African Rapper Number 1” crooner claimed that Eniola Mafe was introduced to him for marriage by Audu Maikori, the co-founder of Chocolate City.
“When I was ready to marry and I wanted to meet someone, I was like, ‘As a celebrity, how do you meet someone?’” M.I. stated in a recent Tea With Tay podcast episode. How do you go on dates? Even though I explored dating apps, I was unable to locate my dream woman there. I thought, “I’ll just ask people.” Audu Maikori responded, “There’s this girl called Eniola Mafe,” when I asked. And I thought, “Let’s see.” I searched for her on Instagram as he was saying it. Now, back in my earlier years, I used to claim that the woman I wanted to marry had [hairstyle], an Afro. Her DP showed that she had an Afro.
“Are you guys telling me that this woman is not married? I went to her page and said, ‘What? Does she have a divorce? Based on what I could see, her appearance, and the things she was interested in, that was my initial assumption. You know, you sit up when you see an opportunity like that. I’ll hit her up now. I went with her. She noticed something on my narrative the following day, so she replied and we struck up a conversation. We never stopped talking once we got to talking. We chatted for two hours the next time. We talked for three hours when we spoke the third time.
“I realised that I had found someone whose story I wanted to be a part of going forward when I met Eniola. And matrimony is exactly that. From there, everything else simply flows.
