The Abuja Defense Headquarters’ second story has been completely destroyed by fire.
As of the time this report was filed, the cause of the Monday night fire outbreak remained unknown.
The director of defense information, Maj. Gen. Jimmy Akpor, confirmed the event and explained how it was fixed.
He claimed that the military and Federal Fire Service officials worked together to bring the situation under control.
Without incident or loss of life, all personnel and civilian workers were also evacuated.
As a result, life has returned to normal. The fire event is being investigated to establish its cause.
He said, “We appreciate the Federal Fire Service and the general public’s continuing support and well wishes for the Nigerian Armed Forces.”
