Security personnel have taken control of the office space after it was allegedly planned by suspected arsonists to set fire to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters in Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State.
According to information obtained by Obasanjo News24, members of the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Police Force, and other security agencies were seen escorting an invading force into the INEC building in armoured personnel carriers.

More information revealed that the often crowded post office, where business activity surges every day, was abandoned.
Vehicle traffic was also limited as drivers were compelled to take alternate roads, particularly those that led to Abuja, Nataco, and the Felele axis.
Recall that one political party accused the other of allegedly funding goons to destroy electoral materials in the INEC office, according to Obasanjo News24.
