Despite being unmarried, Pavel Durov – the Founder and CEO of Telegram Messenger has made a fascinating personal disclosure that he is biologically responsible for over 100 children who are scattered around the globe.
On Monday evening, the successful entrepreneur shared on his well-known channel how he became a father to multiple children.
Durov was approached by his friend and friend’s wife, who were struggling with fertility problems that prevented conception. They requested he donate sperm at a clinic to help them conceive.

At first doubtful, Durov was convinced by the clinic’s director who praised the sperm as “premium donor material” and highlighted the obligation to society in donating to assist needy couples.
“How is it possible for a man who has never been married and prefers to live alone that he now has over 100 biological children?” Durov questioned.
He went on to say, “A decade and a half ago, one of my acquaintances made an unusual appeal. He informed me that he was facing fertility problems with his spouse and requested me to contribute sperm at a medical center so they could become parents. Initially, I didn’t take him seriously because it appeared hilarious.”
According to him, his contributions have led to a hundred couples conceiving children across twelve countries.
Years after his donations ceased, he disclosed that a certain IVF clinic still retains his cryopreserved sperm for families who desire to conceive.
The originator of Telegram stated that he is contemplating the possibility of publicly releasing his DNA in order to enable his biological offspring to locate him if they desire.
Although he recognized the possible hazards, he showed no remorse and declared that “the scarcity of viable sperm has been a progressively grave global problem, so I am glad to have played my role in addressing it.”
Durov encouraged other able-bodied men to contemplate donating their sperm in order to assist families who are facing infertility problems.
