TB Joshua: SCOAN responds to BBC documentary with statement
On Tuesday, the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) rebutted the BBC documentary about the organization’s founder, the late Temitope Babatunde Joshua, also referred to as TB Joshua.
SCOAN declared the documentary to be untrue, pointing out that the church was unaware of the individuals featured in the report.
The church said in a statement signed by Mr. Dare Adejumo, Public Affairs Director, that the purpose of the statement was to deceive the public about the report.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) notes that the BBC published a highly contentious and incriminating documentary on the late TB Joshua on Monday, charging him with a number of offences, including sexual assault against some members.

The BBC World Services Investigative Unit, code-named Africa Eye, released strange and bizarre episodes of atrocities against the late SCOAN founder this week, according to SCOAN.
It stated that while conducting research and producing written or broadcast reports is a core component of journalism, deviating from the profession’s core values and ethics would be abnormal.
As the watchdog of the people, the church claims that media needs to be impartial, fair, and balanced in order to uphold the dignity, honour, and respect of the fourth estate.
“BBC has reneged on these high ideals by delving into propaganda and made-up stories, so transforming into a tool for gangsters in the news industry with a harmful hidden agenda for personal gain.
The BBC’s insulting and disillusioned stories of disgruntled elements are the greatest way to explain why it so shamefully strayed from honest journalism and decided to feed the public with stones instead of bread.
“To put it mildly, this is demeaning to our public and professional intellect.
There’s no denying that hundreds of BBC cartoons will never be able to erase the lasting imprint that T.B. Joshua left behind.
Thousands of people have reportedly witnessed astounding miracles and greatly profited from the anointing and grace that the Lord bestowed upon His servant, according to the Church.
The benefactors who are gathering and reacting violently to this imperialist radio station are indisputable and dispersed throughout.
Many of them are in the United Kingdom, which is the home base of the BBC, but which its cynical investigative eyes are unable to detect—only the blatantly self-serving narrators!
Numerous fractured families that TB Joshua helped to mend are also protesting the BBC’s revelation of wrongdoing. The derogatory reports have also angered countless destitute youngsters who have been taken from all over the world; some were chosen from drug dens or brothels, while others were brought by their parents and have had their lives saved.
“It’s clear that the BBC has shot itself in the foot with its compromise and haphazard reporting.”
It claimed that rather than depending on resentful and manipulative people, some of whom were unknown to SCOAN, the BBC would not have lost anything if it had visited the church—even if it had only assumed the appearance of a visitor—to gain firsthand knowledge of what was occurring there.
There are remnants of homosexual and lesbian companions among those who have been identified.
My research demonstrates even more how peculiar everything the BBC assembled is to SCOAN.
“An additional evidently nonsensical aspect of the farce is the BBC’s unequivocal declaration that the deity was complicit in all the mistreatment for more than twenty years!
How is that possible in a legally constituted country? It displays the station’s crass disdain and odd understanding of nigeria.
“In every decade, where were all those fearless interview subjects? Was it that they awoke or regained consciousness abruptly when the stranger departed? Such charlatans will only be respected by the foolish.
It claims that seeing this in the work of ostensibly skilled reporters is condescending as well as disheartening to hear.
It became clear that the whole goal was to malign the dog in order to hang it.
It continued, saying that it was clear that the people who funded the BBC hatchet job must have been jealous of the church’s steady expansion, much like the tree that was planted across the river.
“Thank God, during the decades of your skewed investigation, your report cleared his sole wife of any wrongdoing.
But did you really imagine that any wife could see and watch all of the absurd and bothersome scenes you painted for decades while remaining silent? There are no such women in the universe that I have read about or seen!
“This is satanically dubious and malicious, as well as illogical, irritating, incomprehensible, and unfathomable.”
The church denounced the report and pleaded with God to pardon the sponsors, pointing out that persecution of God’s workers or envoys was nothing new in history.
It was mentioned that the Church had suffered because of false witnesses who were coerced and cursed to testify against the Gospel.
