On Tuesday, the Merseyside Police verified that a hospital in the region reported an unfortunate demise of a nine-year-old girl due to injuries sustained during an attack.
The BBC News stated that two more girls aged six and seven perished on Monday, coinciding with this assault at Southport – located in northwest England close to the coast.

On Monday, authorities stated that a 17-year-old boy had been apprehended on the suspicion of both murder and attempted homicide. Following the assault, law enforcement also confiscated a knife as evidence.
