The Labour Party Presidential Council’s spokesperson, Dr. Tanko Yususa, said that Peter Obi is the focus of the turmoil roiling the party’s leadership rather than Julius Abure, the beleaguered National Chairperson.

Once the Nigeria Police Force locked the Labour Party’s secretariat on Thursday due to a power struggle inside its leadership, the post-election turmoil in the party took on a new dimension.

In an interview on Channels Television that Obasanjonew24 was watching on Wednesday, Yunusa said that the uncertainty inside the LP is a plot to thwart Peter Obi, the party’s presidential candidate, who is now in court contesting Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s election victory.
