Suspected Yahoo Boy is captured by the EFCC at Makurdi hideout

Abur Aondwase, also known as Yahoo Boy, was detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) Makurdi Zonal Command agents in Makurdi, Benue State. Abur is accused of being an online fraudster.

On Thursday, November 17, 2022, in his hideaway in Makurdi, the suspect was apprehended, according to a brief post on the anti-graft agency’s social media page.

According to the article, the suspect was found to have two computers, an iPhone, many different ATM cards, and a Lexus ES 350 automobile.

However, according to the EFCC, the suspect would be charged with a crime as soon as the inquiry is through.
