A local security organization, Agunechemba, has captured a group of alleged kidnappers in the Agu Odumodu Umunya community of Anambra State.

The security team quickly tracked down and apprehended the suspects.

One of the security personnel, speaking in Igbo, described the incident: “We caught these Fulani cattle herders in the bush. They had lured a meat seller named Chikamso into the bush under false pretenses to examine their cows; he is the person they contacted to purchase them.”

Upon his arrival, they ambushed him with AK-47s. Fortunately, he escaped to Udu and contacted us. When we arrived at the scene, they fired at us, but we were able to successfully apprehend three individuals.
