The People’s Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, made an appearance at an Abuja wedding ceremony on Friday, just 24 hours after losing his lawsuit contesting President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the 25 February presidential election.

According to Obasanjo News24, the former vice president of Nigeria was present at the wedding ceremony when Amb. Umar Damagun, the acting national leader of the PDP, showed his daughter Khadija to Bello Ahmad.

Umar Ganduje, the former governor of Kano State, and the national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) were present at the wedding ceremony, which was held at the National Mosque.

A number of past governors, including Sule Lamido of Jigawa, Bindow Jibrila of Adamawa, and Dr. Babangida Aliyu of Niger State, were present at the wedding, including Governors Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State and Godwin Obaseki of Edo State.
