The appeal filed by Jibrin Barde, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), against the election of Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, has been dismissed by the Supreme Court on Friday.

The apex court is currently concluding its final judgments on legal disputes regarding gubernatorial elections in 13 states, which include Nasarawa, Delta, Ogun, Gombe, and Kebbi, among others.
