In the second round of qualifying for the 2024 Olympic Games, the Super Falcons of Nigeria will face either Chad or Ethiopia.
Tuesday marked the draw ceremony for the qualifiers at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
Ethiopia and Chad will face off in the first round, with the victor advancing to face the Super Falcons in the second.
The two legs will occur in July of 2023.
April 2024 will mark the conclusion of the four-round, home-and-away qualifiers.
Africa will be represented in the women’s football competition by only two nations.
The Super Falcons have not qualified for the last three Olympics.
