Super Falcons prepared for all opponents in 2023 WWC — Payne

Toni Payne, a midfielder for the Super Falcons, has stated that her squad is prepared to compete for medals in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The 10-time World Cup participants from Africa will compete in Australia and New Zealand.

The verbal conflict between head coach Randy Waldrum and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has hampered Nigeria’s preparation for the world football festival.

The Super Falcons have nevertheless been working hard to be ready for the match in Brisbane, Australia.

On Saturday morning, Waldrum’s team destroyed Queensland Lions FC, an Australian team, 8-1.

Payne said the squad is prepared to face any opponent in the World Cup in light of their remarkable performance.

“We are quite confident and on the same level as France and Australia. We are prepared to battle with the guys we have here, Payne said on NFF TV.

Every training we do helps us develop and improve our system. We are preparing for our opening match against Canada step by step.
