Super Falcons players from Nigeria’s women’s football team were guests of the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on Monday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
After losing to the English side on penalties last Monday, August 7, the Super Falcons were eliminated from the FIFA Women’s World Cup, which is now being co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
After holding a similar meeting with the champion Nigerian women’s basketball team, the D’Tigresses, on Monday, the First Lady has since supported Nigerian female athletes by hosting them.
