Super Eagles camp will now begin on Wednesday in Uyo in preparation for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sao Tome & Principe, according to OBASANJO NEWS24.

The camp’s opening day has been postponed till Wednesday from its early projection of Monday (today).

The invited athletes should begin arriving in the nation tonight.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) released the list of the 23 invited players on Sunday.

On Sunday, September 10, the game is scheduled to take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

The Super Eagles, who have already qualified for the finals with 12 points from their previous five games, must collect at least one point to ensure they top the group ahead of Guinea Bissau, who are in second position with 10 points and face Sierra Leone at home on Sunday.

The finals of the AFCON will be held in Cote d’Ivoire in 2023.
