Super Eagles prepared to take against Cote d’Ivoire in 2023 AFCON, among others

At the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, Semi Ajayi anticipates that the Super Eagles would perform at their peak when they take on the Cote d’Ivoire hosts.

In Group A, the three-time African champions will compete against Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, and the Elephants.

Nigeria’s greatest rival in the group is Cote d’Ivoire.

Ajayi said he and his squad will be prepared for battle against the Ivorians.

West Bromwich Albion defender Ajayi stated, “The bigger games bring forth our best.

I am very happy that we are matched up against the host country because it will draw more attention to us.

On January 14, the Super Eagles will face Equatorial Guinea at the Alhassan Quattara Stadium in Abidjan before taking on the hosts four days later.

On January 22, they will play against Guinea Bissau, who they are accustomed to facing.
