Nigerian forward Simon emphasizes the need for the Super Eagles to secure a win against Benin Republic in the crucial AFCON 2025 qualifier.

According to Moses Simon, commencing their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualification journey with a victory is crucial for the Super Eagles.

On Saturday, the West African team will play against their neighboring opponents, Benin Republic in a matchday one encounter at Uyo’s Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

In June, during a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier match, Gernot Rohr’s team emerged victorious over the Super Eagles by defeating them with a score of 2-1.
