Super Eagles’ coaching job: NFF shortlists three coaches
Obasanjonews.com has reported that Emmanuel Amuneke, Domenec Torrent, and Antonio Conceicao are the final three candidates being considered for the Super Eagles coaching position, according to a source within the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The technical committee has forwarded the names of these coaches to the executive committee for a final decision.
Among the foreign coaches, Torrent is said to be the top choice, followed by Conceicao.
On the other hand, Amuneke, with his impressive CV and experience, is considered the strongest candidate among the local coaches.

The board members seem divided on whether to hire a foreign or local coach, with some leaning towards a foreign candidate.
Ultimately, one of these three individuals will be selected for the job, pending further deliberation.
Torrent has previously worked as an assistant to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, while Conceicao led the Cameroon national team at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
Amuneke, on the other hand, has experience coaching the Nigeria U-17 team and the Tanzania national team.
