The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations roster announcement of Alhassan Yusuf for Nigeria has been welcomed by Royal Antwerp, a Belgian professional league team.
On Wednesday, it was confirmed that Yusuf will take Wilfred Ndidi’s spot in the Leicester City midfield, who was injured.

The 23-year-old has never received an invitation to the Super Eagles before.
“Alhassan Yusuf was just called up to the national team of Nigeria.” On their X account, the Belgian champions said, “Good luck at the Africa Cup, Yus!”
Later today, the former player for Sweden’s IFK Goteborg is anticipated to join the Super Eagles at their camp in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The squad has already assembled 17 players.
