The Nigeria Football Federation, or NFF, is prepared to pay the Super Eagles any unpaid incentives and allowances.
26 matches from more than three years ago, which included the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications, had outstanding allowances and bonuses.

As per SCORENigeria, the unpaid bills were included in the Federal Government’s authorised budget for the upcoming AFCON.
An official from the Sports Ministry told SCORENigeria, “All the bonuses and allowances pending for the team will now be cleared after this budget approval.”
“The squad will be greatly motivated by this in the run-up to the AFCON.”
In preparation for the AFCON in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the Super Eagles are currently playing.
