As per SCORENigeria, the unpaid bills were included in the Federal Government’s authorised budget for the upcoming AFCON.

An official from the Sports Ministry told SCORENigeria, “All the bonuses and allowances pending for the team will now be cleared after this budget approval.”

“The squad will be greatly motivated by this in the run-up to the AFCON.”

In preparation for the AFCON in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the Super Eagles are currently playing.
