Igboho’s legal team, led by J.A. Sanusi, filed the case at an Oyo High Court in Ibadan.
Igboho is seeking a compensation of N500 million as he claims that Adams made defamatory statements about him.
In an audio conversation in 2021, Adams allegedly accused Igboho of being a serial killer and assassin for prominent politicians, including President Bola Tinubu.
Igboho is also requesting the court to order the payment of exemplary and aggravated damages in the sum of N500 million, as well as the cost of litigation amounting to N10 million.
The court process filed by Sanusi quoted Adams making various allegations against Igboho, including his association with Tinubu and involvement in criminal activities.
Igboho intends to dispute these claims and seek justice for the damage caused to his reputation.
