The middle-aged guy, Mr. Onoh Chukwuma Richard, reportedly passed away after ingesting a poisonous chemical thought to be sniper.
Richard, a resident of Umuahia, the state capital, and a native of Ututu, Arochukwu local government area of Abia state, passed away in a mission hospital in Umuahia North local government area.

Up to his passing, Richard was expected to serve as the Ututu Progressive Union’s public relations officer.
His friends reportedly drove him quickly to a mission hospital that was close to his house.
The stated mission hospital has not yet disclosed the reason for his passing, but a WhatsApp conversation he purportedly had with an unidentified political acquaintance—which has gone viral on social media—reveals that he ended his life due to his incapacity to pay back a N2.5 million debt following a losing wagering venture.
The Nigeria Police Force’s (NPF) Abia State Command has not yet released an official statement regarding the young man’s passing.
According to a police source, the situation was not formally entered into their records, and they were informed of the news in the same way as everyone else.
Nonetheless, a close personal friend of the deceased claimed that he was a Forex trader.
Onoh wrote a note on his Facebook wall stating that he was going to meet his maker and that this was his last day on earth.
He had taken the pesticide earlier, without anyone reading the post knowing, and that was why he made the disclosure.
In his post, he expressed gratitude to those he thought to be close to him and said, “Today is my last day on earth! I am about to meet my creator. Ikukuoma Abia, Kelvin Jombo Onumah, Ekwueme Ohafia, Chima Anyaso, and my pals are all appreciated. I’m thinking of you all.
According to a person close to the dead, his mother, who is now widowed, is devastated to learn of his passing.
When a friend learned of his passing, she described her sadness and the doctors’ inability to bring him back to life.
A different Facebook user questioned the deceased’s choice, pointing out that Onoh had N1m and borrowed N1.5m to place a wager that lost, which ultimately brought to his terrible demise as a result of humiliation from creditors.
Ibeako Esther Chisom, a Facebook user, posted: “Onoh Chukwuma Richard, I’m devastated. I saw the nurses and doctors pressuring you to try to make a comeback, but they were all unsuccessful, and you stopped when the doctor said that you were dead in front of me and your friends.
Chukwuma Onoh Richard, by ending your own life, you truly undermined God’s purposes for you. Go to sleep. I’m devastated.
“U had 1m and borrowed 1.5m to play bet, it failed, cuz of the shame from debtors you took your life?” said another user, Obika James Abuchi. Who taught you this, Onoh?
