Stop Blaming the Government; Take Action to Improve Nigeria,” Ooni Urges Citizens
The Ooni of Ife calls on Nigerians to shift from blaming the government to actively participating in efforts to improve the country. His message encourages collective responsibility for a better Nigeria.
He stated that the project’s official presentation aims to demonstrate to all key figures in the country that where there is a will, there is a way.
The Ooni stated, “Many positive developments can occur in this country. If we have confidence in ourselves and believe that Nigerians are capable, then the housing deficit will steadily decline.”
“We can’t keep dwelling on the issue. We recognize that there is a housing deficit in the country, but we must utilize our existing resources to achieve results.”
“We need to purchase locally in Nigeria and ensure that production, including our housing requirements, happens within the country.”
Our project is essentially a city in itself, spanning over 100,000 square meters. We aim to demonstrate what can be achieved in Nigeria.
We shouldn’t rely solely on the government to handle everything; I believe Nigeria will improve if we step up and support the government at all levels.
We often point fingers at the government and media, but what actions are we taking personally for our beloved country?
