Singer Iyanya from Nigeria has disclosed that one of his colleague Mayorkun’s necklaces, which were purportedly taken in Calabar, Cross River State, has been restored.
According to the Obasanjo News24, after he was allegedly robbed of his multi-million naira jewellery while in the city to play at an event, Mayorkun vowed never to perform in Calabar again.

Iyanya had begged the people who had the jewellery to give it back, stating that she would compensate them for their efforts.
On Tuesday afternoon, the musician declared on his X account that one of the necklaces had been returned.
Iyanya shared a photo of one of the necklaces that said, “The Mayor of Lagos.” She commented, “Thank you to the person who returned this to THE GRAND HOTEL CALABAR this morning.”
“1 of 2 pieces of jewellery from @Mayorkun has just returned. There is still one to go. Please assist us in returning the second one, my brothers, if you have it.
Iyanya promised in a different tweet to provide $500 to the person who returns the second necklace, which is engraved with the words “Of Lagos.”
$500 should the second pendant be obtained.
