In a post on his X, Sani stated that a dispute between the federal and state governments may lead to confrontations between their forces.

“In the event of a conflict between the State and the Federal Government, that is how they will be exchanging fire with the Federal Police when you have State Police,” the speaker stated.

The former senator’s remarks were made in light of rumours that state governors and President Bola Tinubu are debating whether to establish state police in order to address the nation’s security issues.
