In their inaugural match in the Nigeria Premier Football League on Monday night at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos, Offor’s team defeated the Savannah Scorpions 2-0.

The game’s opening goal was nodded in by Rivio Ayemwenre from Jonathan Alukwu’s cross in the 42nd minute.

Replace Odafe 19 minutes into the game, Clement added the second.

When Mojeeb Odufeso failed to score from the penalty spot deep in stoppage time, he lost the chance to lessen the deficit.

“I’m very happy with the three points and the team performance. We want to improve our confidence going into this season.”
