President Bola Tinubu is aware that Nigeria’s problem is its lack of money, according to Senator Magnus Abe, a former member of the Rivers South-East Senatorial District in the 8th and 9th National Assembly.

Abe stated that his belief and confidence in God underpin his support for Tinubu in a statement released on Friday and signed by his spokesperson, Parry Benson.

At a luncheon held at his home in Port Harcourt, the state capital, on Thursday, he told a few of his friends and supporters about this.

He warned Nigerians not to become sidetracked because the country’s issues are unrelated to the current political climate.

“We have a President who is financially literate and who is aware that Nigeria’s problem is financial. He is setting up the economy so that both I and you can make money.

If that occurs, whether or not we have positions, all of our efforts and supports would have been addressed. In order to avoid becoming angry and acting inappropriately, I implore you all to remain steadfast in your support of the President.

“We didn’t do what we were doing based on what anyone told us or hypothetical scenarios; rather, it was motivated by our belief in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and our trust in God.

“The Almighty God offers rewards to those who are devoted. So when things turn out differently than you expected, I urge you not to worry or freak out.

To adjust to the new realities of time, you must learn to think differently and collaborate with others. The political drumbeats are shifting, and I for one won’t stop moving no matter what happens because I can’t be left on the ground.

“We are politicians, and politics is an interest-based game. Political opponents are the opposite of enemies in politics. A lot of friends from yesterday can turn into rivals today, and rivals from today can turn into friends tomorrow. Politics is by its very nature.

What remains constant is our desire for our society and individuals to be improved, and this is what we are interested in. Today’s great countries were created on the sacrifices of their people. We must make sacrifices if Rivers State and Nigerians as a whole are to be established.

“Have they told you anything other than what the President told you about himself, that he is a top-class thinker and has the accounting skills to resolve our money issues in Nigeria?

“Nigerians can now establish that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu did, in fact, graduate with honours from Chicago State University (CSU).

In the interest of the state, Senator Abe announced that he had withdrawn his plea from the State Election Petitions Tribunal. He urged his supporters to work together to create a united, progressive, and successful Rivers State.

For those of you who are concerned, nobody is your adversary, he remarked. The politics of 2023 are over. In order to support the unity, development, and prosperity of Rivers State, we withdrew the case.

“Any hand handed to you for a contribution to bring Rivers State forward must be taken so that we may make our own contribution when the time comes to drive the state forward.

“Don’t make it seem like everything is about just you, just me, or just us. We eventually have to put our state before ourselves in order to move forward.
