Rt. Hon. Abdulmalik Muhammed Sarkin Daji, the Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly, has expressed shock and regret at the passing of his late security assistant, Inspector Isiyaku Mohammed of the Nigeria Police force.
Up until his passing, Isiyaku was among the best and most disciplined officers with a high sense of professionalism, according to a statement made by the Speaker on Friday in Minna.

He bemoaned, “The hallmark of his career as a professional police officer was his dedication to duty, loyalty, and sense of responsibility.”
In light of the nation’s growing security concerns, he clarified that the officer’s death occurred at a time when his contribution to the Nigerian Police Force and the nation at large was greatly required.
The dead person’s career was remarkable, the Speaker added, emphasising that not only the Niger State Police Command and the Niger State House of Assembly Security Department, but the Nigeria Police Force as a whole would miss his services.
He prayed, asking “the Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant his soul eternal rest and give the family the strength to bear the great loss.”
The late Inspector passed away on Thursday night at a private hospital in Abuja following a brief illness.
