Sowore criticizes the Council of State meeting, calling it a ‘failure meeting with failure’ in his latest remarks.
In response to the Council of State gathering held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Omoyele Sowore, a political activist and politician, expressed his thoughts on President Bola Tinubu’s meeting with former leader Muhammadu Buhari.
“A former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, Sowore characterized the meeting as a gathering between two failures.”
Former presidents, Goodluck Jonathan and Buhari graced the occasion physically while ex-Military Heads of State, Yakubu Gowon and Abdulsalami Abubakar attended virtually.

Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo did not attend in person or participate online.
The Council of State meeting held on Tuesday was Tinubu’s first as President, presiding over it.
Tinubu received approval from Council of State members during the meeting, who criticized the EndBadGovernanceInNigeria movement aimed at the present government.
