Obiageli Ezekwesili, a former minister of education, has urged APC members and supporters to hand over the presidency and the position of Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces to her.

In the event that she is elected president, Ezekwesili has committed to address the deteriorating insecurity in the Southeast and other regions of Nigeria.

She committed to expose the perpetrators of the Southeast’s current insecurity crisis.

Ezekwesili tweeted: “It seems they have again given me the constitutional duties of the @NGRPresident, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

“They do this without giving the office to me so I can immediately, firmly, and effectively deal with the deteriorating condition of instability in the South East and other parts of the country and permanently hold them accountable for their appalling failure.

“Such dishonesty is the standard modus operandi of the @OfficialAPCNg @NigeriaGov individuals and their Fan Club who never take responsibility for anything but struggle with an urge to ‘capture power only for the sake of power.’

Please let me know as soon as you are prepared to officially accept my position as your Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces. Until then, take pleasure in speaking my name in vain.
