Prominent Nigerian human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, announced the release of social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, on Easter Sunday, 31 March 2024.
Sowore expressed his joy on his X page, stating that oppression will not prevail thanks to the collective efforts of those who fought for VeryDarkMan’s freedom.
It is worth noting that VeryDarkMan had been detained since 22nd March, 2024, and there were allegations linking Tonto Dikeh, Samklef, and Iyabo Ojo to his arrest, as stated by his lawyer.
