Snoop Dogg, the legendary American hip-hop artist, has clarified that the “smoking” he gave up was not marijuana but rather smokey room warmer, just four days after declaring that he had “decided to give up smoke.”

In a video commercial released on Monday on his X handle, Snoop Dogg declared he was ‘becoming smokeless with Solo Stove’.

The rapper said, “I have an announcement, I’m giving up smoke,” in the video. You may be thinking, “Snoop, smoke has carried your entire fame,” and I understand. But I’ve had enough of it. I’m giving up smoking. One Stove fixed the flames. They remove the ash. Brilliant! [laughs]

When he first announced that he was giving up smoking “after much consideration and conversation” with his family, his supporters and coworkers assumed he was talking about his long-standing marijuana addiction.

Meek Mill, a coworker, declared he was going to follow suit and move to Dubai in order to stop smoking, citing an emphysema diagnosis.
