Similar to Atiku, Tinubu’s election is upheld by the Supreme Court, which rejects Obi’s petition.
The appeal filed by Peter Obi and the Labour Party (LP) against the September 6 ruling of the Presidential victory Petition Court (PEPC), which confirmed President Bola Tinubu’s victory, has been rejected by the Supreme Court.
In the main verdict, which was read by Justice John Okoro and was backed by the seven-member panel, the court contended that the grounds for Obi’s appeal were the same as those of Atiku Abubakar’s appeal, which had previously been decided.
The court confirmed Tinubu’s triumph after upholding the PEPC’s ruling.
More information to come.
