The 2023 CAF Men’s of the Year is up for grabs, and Victor Osimhen of Napoli is a contender.
Thirty players have been nominated for the honour, including Osimhen.
Hakim Ziyech, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Riyad Mahrez, and Achraf Hakimi are a few of the other leading contenders for the prize.
Osimhen is the favourite to take home the esteemed prize in this year’s event.

The Nigerian national team’s 26 goals in 32 games last season helped Napoli win the Scudetto for the first time in thirty-three years.
In six appearances for the Partenopei in the UEFA Champions League, the 24-year-old also scored five goals.
His goal is to become the first Nigerian recipient of the honour since Nwankwo Kanu did so in 1996.
The Young Player of the Year nominee is Gift Orban, a forward for Gent of Belgium.
