Shooting Stars continue to progress- Coach Ogunbote

Despite the team’s draw with Heartland on Sunday, Shooting Stars head coach Gbenga Ogunbote thinks his squad is still headed in the right direction.

During the game, the Oluyole Warriors were unable to capitalise on their opportunities.

The club will use their next games to make up for the points they lost, according to Ogunbote.

“I believe we’ve only played 11 matches as of matchday 38. In the post-match interview, he said, “We still have 27 games to decide the champion.

“We want to finish strong since we still have games left to play.

As we have been witnessing here in Ibadan, we want to have a free and level playing field for our upcoming games.

“We’re going to make up for the points we lost in Ibadan,”

After the draw, Shooting Stars fell to fifth place.

On Wednesday at Akure, there will be a Southwest derby between Shooting Stars and Sunshine Stars.
