Deji Adeyanju, a well-known sociopolitical activist, made fun of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), for attending the Living Faith Church’s annual event.
Adeyanju claimed that David Oyedepo, the founder of the Living Faith church, omitted to publicly support Obi during the Shiloh program.
During the Shiloh program on Thursday night, the former governor of Anambra State was introduced by the church’s vice president, David Abioye.
The congregation welcomed Obi with a loud cheer and standing ovation.
Adeyanju responded by saying that Nigerians should be wary of politicians who combine work and pleasure.
The well-known activist tweeted: “Obi took his 2023 politics to Shiloh but was unable to secure Bishop Oyedepo’s open endorsement. Politicians who want to combine politics and religion frighten me personally.
“Nigerians are backing the three biggest criminals because they are in love with crooked, thieving politicians. The choices for February’s election are better.
