At the Bakin Ruwa Region of Kaduna State’s Igabi Local Government Area on Thursday night, Shi’ite members and security personnel attached to the governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, fought.
According to sources, at least four people died as a result of the development, and many more suffered injuries.

The Shi’ite participants were participating in their weekly march at Bakin Ruwa along the Nnamdi Azikiwe Expressway when the governor’s motorcade came into touch with them.
According to Daily Trust, Abdullahi Usman, a Shi’ite leader in Kaduna state, acknowledged the occurrence but insisted that none of those slain were Shi’ites.
A statement will be released later, according to DSP Mohammed Jalige, the Kaduna State Police Command’s spokesperson, who also verified the occurrence. He said the investigation was underway.
