The passing out ceremony and commissioning of cadets from the 70 Regular Course of the Nigerian Defence Academy have begun in Afaka, Kaduna State, with the arrival of vice president Kashim Shettima.
The Vice President arrived at the Kaduna International Airport at 10 am and inspected a Quarter Guard at the NDA Main Gate in his capacity as the reviewing officer on behalf of President Bola Tinubu.

The host Governor, Senator Uba Sani, the Governor of Taraba State, Agbu Kefas, all Service Chiefs, the Inspector General of Police, Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, and Minister of Defence, Abubakar Badaru are among the dignitaries present.
The Nigerian Defence Academy is graduating more than 200 cadets as junior military officers, including students from sister African nations like Liberia, Sierra Leone, the Niger Republic, Chad, and Uganda.
